A Dialogue Between Shadow and Craft
This residence unfolds as a study in restraint — where dark timber holds the room like a held breath, and woven textures soften every hard edge into something lived-in. Sliding screens filter daylight into vertical fragments, casting the interior in a rhythm of light and shadow that shifts with the hour.
Here, privacy is not enclosure but choreography.
Terracotta and rattan sit in quiet conversation — hand-woven urns holding the weight of craft against walls the colour of dusk. The kitchen turns inward, matte black surfaces disappearing into the dark, punctuated only by a single flame or the glint of brass fittings. Even the dining table, dressed simply in linen, becomes an altar to slowness.
Outside, greenery presses against glass, blurring the line between built and grown.
Rattan chairs face the garden as if in conversation with it. Pendant lanterns hang low, gathering the room's warmth into
pools of amber light.
At once austere and intimate, this home treats texture as language — timber grounds, stone anchors, and light lingers.
